We had a lovely chat with the front desk lady who was genuinely nice, went out of her way to bring us fresh cookies, and even whipped cream for my daughter's hot chocolate. The windows in our room opened up for fresh air, which was a welcome change from some of the stuffy hotels I've been in. Really made everything feel personal and cozy.
Wasn't exactly cheap but I expected at least a little more for the price.

We visited the Kennebunk Farmer's Market and The Brick Store Museum, both just a short walk away. The vibe here is super cozy, and we got great advice from the owners on local outings. If you're planning to park at the beach, just keep in mind the parking permit situation.
Our room felt a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. A little extra space would have made our stay perfect.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our visit, but be prepared for the quirks of an older inn. The spacious suite had character, but the air conditioning was noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and daily housekeeping kept everything clean. Check for dining options nearby since the restaurant was closed.

We loved exploring the local shops and dining at nearby restaurants. The Farmer's Market was a highlight for fresh produce and local goods. It's a great spot if you're flying into Portland. the airport is just a short drive away. Just manage expectations on room amenities as some upgrades are needed.
Our experience was slightly marred by the AC not being on, making our room quite stuffy during our stay. It would be great if they could improve on that for future guests.

The quaint inn offers a wonderful central location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly, and I appreciated their dog-friendly policy, which included treats for my pet. However, the room felt a bit cramped, lacking sufficient counter space, and the breakfast setup was disorganized, with missing items both days. A nicer coffee and tea setup would enhance the morning experience.
