charming spot near parks and delightful eateries
I loved being just a few steps from Christian's Cafe & Eatery for a quick bite and within a short stroll to the Kennebunk Free Library, where I soaked up the peaceful ambiance and enjoyed a leisurely afternoon.

Best for those who can handle some discomfort
We had a lovely chat with the front desk lady who was genuinely nice, went out of her way to bring us fresh cookies, and even whipped cream for my daughter's hot chocolate. The windows in our room opened up for fresh air, which was a welcome change from some of the stuffy hotels I've been in. Really made everything feel personal and cozy.
Wasn't exactly cheap but I expected at least a little more for the price.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our visit, but be prepared for the quirks of an older inn. The spacious suite had character, but the air conditioning was noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and daily housekeeping kept everything clean. Check for dining options nearby since the restaurant was closed.

Improved soundproofing between rooms would be appreciated.

We loved exploring the local shops and dining at nearby restaurants. The Farmer's Market was a highlight for fresh produce and local goods. It's a great spot if you're flying into Portland. the airport is just a short drive away. Just manage expectations on room amenities as some upgrades are needed.

Strongly recommend for exploring town
Charming inn, excellent food, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were nearby restaurants within walking distance for convenience.
The bed was very uncomfortable and left us with stiff backs for a couple of days.

The constant noise from pickleball disrupted sleep.

The quaint inn offers a wonderful central location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly, and I appreciated their dog-friendly policy, which included treats for my pet. However, the room felt a bit cramped, lacking sufficient counter space, and the breakfast setup was disorganized, with missing items both days. A nicer coffee and tea setup would enhance the morning experience.

I enjoyed my stay in a King Room with lovely decor and a homely atmosphere. The staff was friendly and offered great assistance, while the location was perfect for exploring nearby shops and restaurants. However, I found the noise from the street quite disruptive at night, and the limited availability of the tavern was a bit disappointing.

The walls are thin, leading to noise disturbances.
